The Woodlands Highlanders (8-0) will travel to Abe Martin Stadium in Lufkin tonight to meet the Lufkin Panthers (7-1) in a game that will decide the winner of district 14-5A.The Highlanders will be battling recent history as well as they are 0-5 against Lufkin since the Panthers moved to the district, including last year's 15-13 loss.
Game time forecast calls for temperatures around 50 degrees with an overflow crowd expected. Give us Lufkin to continue their dominance over the Highlanders, 35-24.
Just down the road from Lufkin, the Alto Yellow Jackets and Cayuga Wildcats match up in Alto to determine the winner of district 20-1A. We're taking Cayuga, 30-21.
