Talk about a tough region. In an unusual twist, Class 2A Region I featured Muleshoe, Bushland, Littlefield and Kermit; all four teams boasting 10-0 records during the regular season. In the opening round Muleshoe beat Bushland 34-20 and Littlefield edged Kermit 20-14. Now 11-0 Muleshoe and 11-0 Littlefield meet at Wolfforth Frenship Friday night in a hugh second round tilt.
Odds are the winner will then play the 10-1 Clyde Bulldogs, who handed Cisco their only defeat earlier this year. That's one tough region!
